With releases on Deep Explore, Tangential Music, Spirit Wrestlers, Midnight Riot, ISM, Hot Digits and People Are Looking At You, Ex-Friendly has made plenty of dancefloor heat but he also wanders down deeper holes and this gospel tinged piece of electronic dread is one of them. A vocal hook lifted from Bernice Johnson Reagon (from the early 60s?), bubbling synths and glitchy, clattering percussion driving home a message of revolution and change... and hope.
